John A. Petruccelli, DMD, FAGD
Dr. Petruccelli obtained his Doctorate degree in Dental Medicine at Tufts University located in Boston, Massachusetts, and received a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. Currently in Canada, there are less than 2% of dentists who hold this Fellowship status, as it entails maintaining the highest level of continuing education standards. Dr. Petruccelli obtained his Diplomate status by the International Dental Implant Association in oral implantology. Dr. Petruccelli also completed a three-year post-graduate program in orthodontics at Montreal’s International Dental Institute. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Implant Association, the American Orthodontic Society, the Quebec Order of Dentists, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Dr. Petruccelli looks forward to helping each patient achieve a beautiful, healthy smile using the latest advances in modern dentistry.
Jamila Shakir, DMD, PhD
Dr. Shakir received her Doctorate degree in Dental Medicine at the University of Moscow, Russia in 1991. She maintained a private practice in Casablanca, Morocco and was involved in volunteering for the public oral health. Back to Moscow in the late nineties, she worked as chief dentist at the American Hospital in Moscow. Her interests in implantology led Dr. Skakir to complete her PhD in 2007. She worked as a research associate at McGill University, succeeded in the Canadian equivalency examinations process and obtained her Certification from the National Dental Board of Canada. Constantly staying at the edge of modern dentistry, attending conferences, participating to world wide symposia and specialized dental courses, Dr Shakir offers state of the art dentistry. She is a passionate and humane general dentist providing complete dental care to adult and young patients, including cosmetic and restorative dentistry as well as prosthodontics, endodontics, surgery, periodontics, implants and Invisalign orthodontics. Dr. Shakir is a member of the Ordre des Dentistes du Québec (ODQ), Canadian Dental Association (CDA), International Dental Federation (FDI), Association Dentaire Française (ADF) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Dr. Shakir is fluent in French, English and Russian.
Maha Nimeh, DMD
Dr. Maha Nimeh graduated from McGill University with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2006. Her passion for treating children and ensuring that each child has the opportunity to achieve the smile and confidence they deserve, drove her to complete a residency program at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. During her training, she acquired knowledge in the comprehensive treatment of traumatic dental injuries, early childhood caries, malocclusions, orofacial clefts, amelogenesis imperfecta, infant tongue-ties, and other genetic malformations. Her experience at the Montreal children’s Hospital was so fulfilling that she decided to continue practicing there as staff.
Throughout her career, Dr. Nimeh has also volunteered her services in humanitarian missions providing dental care for underserved areas. This transformative experience has taught her humility and the power of serving others with kindness and compassion to promote human welfare.
With her welcoming smile, and positive energy she is dedicated to her patients and emphasizes preventative dental care through oral hygiene habits and diet.
Dr. Nimeh continuously broadens and updates her knowledge by completing continuing education courses. She is a member of the Ordre des Dentistes du Québec (ODQ) and the Association des Chirurgiens Dentistes du Québec (ACDQ).
Gentjana (Anna) Lluka, DDS, FAGD
In 2002, Dr Lluka obtained her doctorate in dentistry from the University of Athens, Greece and her license to practice as a dental surgeon. Subsequently, after a one-year stay in France at the University of Paris V, she obtained a Certificate of Higher Studies in Dental Biomaterials. In Canada, in 2007, she obtained her license to practice from the Ordre des Dentistes du Québec. Always in search of perfecting her art and providing the best care to her patients, Dr. Lluka places great importance on the continuing education that spans areas such as implantology, occlusion and aesthetics. She has a training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics followed at the International Dental Institute. Dr Lluka is a Fellow of The Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).
Dr. Lluka offers comprehensive dental care at the cutting edge of dentistry including: restorations, veneers, crowns, prostheses, root canals, surgery, implants and Invisalign (orthodontics). She is a very human dentist and dedicated to providing the best care to her patients who are without fail in awe of her gentleness and skill. Dr. Lluka is a member of the Ordre des Dentistes du Québec (ODQ), a member of the Canadian Dental Association (ADC) and sits as a member of the Nominating Committee of the Association of Dentists of Quebec (ACDQ). Dr Lluka is fluent in five languages (French, English, Greek, Albanian, Italian.
Talia Hamalian, DDS
Dr. Talia Hamalian is a 1989 graduate of McGill University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She has been teaching at McGill University since 2018. Committed to providing you with top quality care, Dr. Hamalian regularly participates in continuing education courses that enable her to perfect her technique and knowledge. She is a member of the Ordre des Dentistes du Québec (ODQ) and the Association des Chirurgiens Dentistes.
